Until December 31, 2019 we will present the text-based installation “Why Not” by the artist Daniela Risch in the display on the forecourt of Lörrach main station.
The display, anchored in a brutalist architectural construction, lost its architectural reference point when the post office was demolished. In the newly formed ensemble on the post office site, the display raises questions. Depending on the viewing angle to the two glass cases, the reading of the arranged words is completely different.
WHY – EVER – MUST – NOT
Depending on personal questions and experiences, the word combinations lead to different associations in the viewer.
